Digital Fluency Intensive, Day 2.

Another great session. First of all, the insight into "Ako" part of Manaiakalani philosophy makes much more sense now. I haven’t been using Google Keep before, but it might be quite a useful tool for organising your thoughts. G-mail is much more versatile than I thought before. And it’s great to have a signature in the emails. I know now that it's possible to have two events scheduled at the same time in the Calendar. And taming the tabs will prevent “running around” on the screen with your mouth. Google Meet was the highlight of the day. It’s a great tool, especially when you know how to record a video and publish it. Another bonus for the day - having Grammarly. Very fruitful session.

Here is the video we have recorded with Aaron.

  1. Today was really useful wasn't it? I think that having these Google tools is great, but actually finding out the tips and tricks is how we can personalise them and get the most out of them. I think taming the tabs was my biggest issue and the extension Toby mini will literally change my work life for the better! Have you had a look at that? See you next week.

  2. Kia ora Armen,

It is such a pleasure to read your reflections on DFI Day 2. I am pleased that you found the day useful and are now more empowered to make changes within your professional practice as a result of this new learning. Who knows where it might take you... Keep up the great reflecting and I will see you Friday.
